OVERVIEW PROCESS is currently seeking a senior level Engineering Technician / AutoCAD Draftsman on a Part-Time basis supporting process design and engineering projects across a variety of industrial market segments. Assignments are expected to be primarily in the Northeast United States but may require some occasional on-site plant P&ID walkdown work in other locations across the U.S. Our Engineering Technicians work under the direction of our chemical process design engineers to create drawings and other project related deliverables for our industrial process plant clients. LOCATION The position is for PROCESS' Eastern Regional Office located in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania (45 minutes from Philadelphia). Working remotely is an option. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ideal experience includes walking down existing plant systems to create hand sketches and P&IDs from scratch, hand sketch and CAD isometric pipe drawings, assisting with equipment specifications, etc. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for development of PFDs, P&IDs, 2D General Arrangements, and 2D Area Classification drawings A minimum of 5 years of industrial process related experience required. Must be well versed in typical process engineering deliverables, i.e. process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangements, equipment specification sketches, etc. Some client interfacing experience is a plus but not required. COMPENSATION Based on qualifications and experience.
