Sayres is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Acquisition Management Analyst with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC. Responsibilities : Familiarity with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition and be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies. Assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings. Attend meetings and prepare minutes; and research and prepare responses to action items. To include: Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews (QPRs) Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, or Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B). Shipbuilder Program Reviews, including Post-Award Conferences and logistics meetings. Foreign Customer Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Financial Management Reviews (FMRs). Preferred Specialization: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; Foreign Military Sales; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); ship building experience. Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline. 7+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 3+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS/JPAS DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline Project Management Professional (PMP) for 3+ years Preferred. 10+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 5+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management The position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.
