Position Description:This role focuses on providing client support, technical issue resolution andprovides technical assistance and training to customers. The TSR works as a teamwith the PSSR and Account Manager, promoting and fostering the use of ourproducts with the customer at worksites directly.Specific Skills:Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair orreplace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance. Essential Functions: Experience with the installation, operation, trouble shooting, programming, and maintenance of the PMC-R Electro-Hydraulic Roof Control System is required Proficiency with the installation, operation, trouble shooting, programming, and maintenance of the PMC-D Face Conveyor Drive System is required Experience with the installation, operation, trouble shooting, programming, and maintenance of Longwall Shearer machines is required Ability to use and understand troubleshooting and test equipment, multimeter, adjustable power supply, voltmeter, amp meter, thermal measurement, vibration data loggers, along with various hydraulic circuit and component test equipment is required Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics with "as built" hosing and wiring diagrams is required Experience and knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Caterpillar Shield Haulers and Scoops preferred Experience and knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Caterpillar Continuous Miners and Mobile Bridge Conveyors preferred Diagnoses a range of complex equipment problems, to include underground inspections of equipment May maintain inventory and stock of spare parts Technically assisting our customers in the field Encouraging the use of the product by highlighting the qualities, advantages and benefits the customer will get by purchasing our products Permanent monitoring of the performance of our products Training the customer for the proper use of the product Constant support to customers in case of possible doubts about the use and good practices of our products Being technically up-to-date, to present the features of our product compared to that of competition Proactive interface between all functions of the company and our customers concerning technical and operational challenges Mentorship, development & guidance of less experienced peers Timely completion of all post job and administrative duties including but not limited to customer and service reports, timesheets, job debriefs, tooling and tracking Safe & compliant performance of all activities in line with the company's and our customer's environmental health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures Uncompromising integrity to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and company rules and requirements Maintaining a strong customer relationship through a positive, proactive & professional approach Order parts and maintain inventory, Keep maintenance reports and documentation Perform other related duties as assigned by manager Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent reguired MSHA underground qualified preferred Experience/Job Requirements: 5 years experience in the mining industry in the repair and maintenance and service of Heavy equipment, Diesel or diesel-electric mining machinery Ability to work independently, with analytical reasoning and problem solving skills to formulate procedures and plans, to execute and monitor programs Must have valid driver's license Physical Requirements: Must be physically and emotionally able to work in an underground environment While on mine-face, working in heights of 32" 12', requiring anywhere from crawling on stomach or hands and knees to bent-over to duck-walkposition to walking upright, while carrying 25 to 30 lbs. of components andtools Must be able to lift or push 50 lbs. Must be able to walk long distances one-half to two miles - in instances of power outages Must be able to walk on unlevel ground with many slip, trip and fall hazards Must be able to work in varying temperature of 20 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit (Ambient 55 degrees Fahrenheit) Must be able to work in adverse conditions (water, mud)
