Due to continued growth, Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is looking for the next great addition(s) to our team. The Health Specialist will provide support services to the Mental Health, Early Intervention and Health Components in the Resource Team. Work cooperatively with staff members and clients from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds and provide services as needed or requested to ensure program requirements are met. Conduct hearing and/or vision screenings with children ages 6 months to 5 years in the preschool or home setting. Provide training and guidance for program staff who will be conducting hearing and vision screenings with children. Set a schedule of screenings for multiple sites in multiple counties to include the monitoring and of completion within set deadlines and requirements . Communicate and partner with various community health professionals to include Audiologists and Optometrists. This position is budgeted for 40 hours per week / 1832 hours per year, $21.21.
