Skilled equipment operator experience. OSHA 10 certification required, OSHA 30 preferred. Ability to efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals. Ability to read or follow drawings, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures. Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments. Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in a high output environment. Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, with an aptitude to answer technical questions in a simplified manner. Able to work a flexible schedule and adjust to changing business needs including possible emergency call-out, extended hours and out-of-town and overnight work. Able to work in varied weather environments. Valid driver's license required. Responsibilities Include: Strategic: Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints Assist in lay out of work for crew Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained and repairs are done in a timely manner Ensure statutory requirements are met Attend monthly safety inspection and meetings Manage and coordinate daily corrective actions Work with maintenance supervisors to achieve process plant equipment efficiency and availability Build, develops and manages mechanical team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives Assist in conducting failure analysis studies and recommend alternative strategies for maintenance Assist or liaise with Administrative Coordinator in communicating maintenance mission, vision, goals and objective to maintenance workforce Contribute to a climate of mutual respect, team spirit and team identity Tactical: Install mechanical components of a solar energy system. Verify job components prepared for a specific job. Layout and construct solar modules/arrays and mounting hardware. Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment. Electrical wiring of solar array/system. Familiarity working at heights. Provide communication with Project Managers to ensure work is performed according to specifications. Communicating equipment and supply needs to the workers as well as the managers. Leading jobs in the field and assisting with supervision of daily operations with relation to the job. Answering calls and questions related to the job. Responding in a timely manner to customer service needs. Complete appropriate forms, reports and other required paperwork. Analyze project requirements and perform to meet deadlines. Provide technical support and on-site troubleshooting and repair for customers. Performing safe work habits and reinforcing safety to all team members. Responding to phone calls and texts within a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and assist in site preparation and clean up. Maintain company tools and vehicle in excellent condition. Other duties as assigned. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
