Circles of Learning's mission is to provide high quality, affordable child care services and a comprehensive support network so that families can achieve and maintain social and economic independence.Circles of Learning is seeking a School Age Teacher for our program! We are accepting applications for a fulltime teacher to work with children ages Kindergarten - 5th grade. Because our school age staff are full time employees, teachers float to cover lunch breaks and sub in all age group classrooms when school is in session.As a teacher, you will:•Create a safe learning environment for children•Provide your students with care and implemented curriculum •Communicate with parents to create a relationship of mutual support for children•Be a fulltime employee with a guaranteed 40 hours a week•After 90 days be eligible for benefits, paid time off, and holiday payQualifications: •60 college credits, with at least 6 credits specifically in Early Childhood, Child Development or related, OR-•30 college credits, 6 credits specifically in Early Childhood, Child Development or related AND a year experience in a licensed child care center, OR-•A high school diploma or equivalency certificate plus 3120 clock hours of experience in a recreational program, kindergarten, or licensed day care center serving school-age children or a license exempt school-age child care program operated by a public or private school•Experience working with children preferred but not required, training providedSafety for our staff, students, and families is a top priority. Keeping safety a priority, we follow State and local guidelines pertaining to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
