An Assistant Manager is answerable for executing work process systems dependent on bearing from the Manager. Their obligations include serve as intermediator between the housekeepers and the housekeeping manager to eliminate tasking/responsibility confusion. Leads and mentors housekeeping staff daily to ensure cleanliness standards and operational efficiencies are met or exceeded. Assists in opening the boards daily. Takes part in inventory counts and weekly orders for the department. Ensures the turnover of all vacant and clean cottages in a timely manner; verifies stayovers, reports early check outs, and communicates issues and discrepancies with front office. Provides coaching, encouragement, and recognition to team members when necessary. Participates in the development and execution of training programs for new hires as well as ongoing training for current team members. Oversee employees during everyday tasks, giving guests assistance in raised circumstances and dealing with the general work process of a work environment. Maintain high guest satisfaction scores. Essential Responsibilities: Assisting the manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy Coordinating day-to-day operations Ensuring that company safety guidelines and procedures are followed Setting up and organizing schedules Devising and setting up objectives to boost company productivity Ensuring that goals and objectives are met Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Interviewing and recruiting new employees Providing training to employees Delegating tasks to employees Supervising, leading and motivating employees Reporting any problems or accidents to management Filling in for management in case of their absence Helping with monitoring and tracking operating costs, budgets and resources Inspect VIP and owner's arrivals Creating reports, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data Monitoring guest satisfaction Managing guest complaints and resolving their issues Assisting with procurement of inventory and supplies Supporting the manager as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business administration or similar field Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role Cleaning experience Good customer service skills Experience in recruiting and hiring Experience in evaluating staff Experience in leadership roles Ability to plan and organize Experience in managing budgets Understanding of guest service principles and practices Excellent multitasking skills Proficiency in using MS Office Strong problem-solving skills Great interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Strong oral and written communication skills Good time-management skills Ability to work well under pressure This is the minimum qualificators -HS diploma, bending, lifting, reading English, follow directions, etc. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
