HR Internship Start Date- April 2023 End Date - September 2023 (with possibility to extend) Location - Wakefield, MA (must be within commuting distance), working in office primarily Schedule - Business hours up to 24-32 hours/week; flexible based on school schedule. Your work will be aligned to our corporate goals, so you're working on what matters and helping our clients make their mark on the world ! YOU'LL GET TO... Learn and collaborate with the People & Culture team to put ideas into practice that will enhance our procedures and the employee experience. Assist in facilitating HR lead efforts such as Employee Recognition Program and Friends@Work Program Cover Office Manager; answer phones, order supplies, sort mail, stocking supplies & snacks Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and clients Assist in recruitment process; schedule candidate, assist with interviews, maintain recruitment logs, resumes, job descriptions, scorecards and reports Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, training records, promotions and terminations Update employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons Help team maintain basic knowledge of legal and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs Act as training liaison; inputs training courses, maintains records and reports Update handbook and policy manuals, organizational charts, and HR related power point decks on an as-needed basis. Provide administrative support as needed; manage other projects as needed WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO... Is a College Junior / Senior preparing for a degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications or related major Has some level of previous work experience, preferably in an office or other internships Self-starter, independent, confident, maintains confidentiality Excellent listening, communication and writing skills Works with integrity and ethically Upholds organizational values Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint Possesses the following skills: Time management Teamwork Problem solving Attention to detail Leadership Research skills Organization Analytical skills Innovation Fun! Must be currently enrolled in college throughout entire internship period.
