Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring an Echocardiography Technician to join the Cardiopulmonary team! Description: This is a PRN position, hours vary based on demands of the department. The selected candidate will perform all aspects of cardiac diagnostic test (Stress Test, EKG, Echocardiography, Pacemaker Evaluation, Cardiac Event Recording); maintain contact with employees, physicians, visitors, patients and other department within the hospital; responsible for all EKG inpatient and outpatient services including special procedures and emergency situations; assists in maintain adequate level of cardiac supplies within the department; and updates nursing and medical staff on clinical matters. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program Must be a Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer (RCDS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cardio Tech) preferred Your Health, Our Passion!
