A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREER EDUCATOR As our new Career Educator, you're in charge of making sure all of our clients get the vocational evaluation and employment planning they need. You get to sit down with each client and hear all about their employment, education, and training history. You also use multiple assessments to figure out what they're good at and what they need help with, like their strengths, weaknesses, aptitudes, behaviors, and limitations. You're fantastic at identifying skills and qualities such as organizational ability, perseverance, attendance, punctuality, flexibility, interpersonal skills, work habits, and communication skills. Based on all this information, you get to create the perfect employment plan for each client, complete with referrals to education and vocational training programs, work experience programs, and even some job options that are just right for them! You're like the glue that keeps our team together, always communicating with other service providers within the company to make sure everyone's on the same page. And let's not forget about all the important paperwork you do, documenting everything in our system and even creating special reports when needed.
