Summary: We have a great opportunity to join our growing business and build your future. Join our team and help create signs for many different businesses in the Carolinas and beyond. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Experience in sign wire and assembly UL certified a plus Experience working in plastic, metal wiring Read the backlog and work through multiple tasks in a day Ability to learn new assembly and fabrication techniques daily Take direction well and work with your team to beat goals Work with light tools to fabricate items of metal, plastic, stone, LEDs Competency: Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Able to read and interpret written information, blue prints and shop drawings. Demonstrates attention to detail. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Is consistently at work and on time. Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Volunteers readily and seeks increased responsibilities. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Completes work in timely manner and strives to increase productivity. Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses equipment and materials properly. Continually looks for ways to improve processes and decrease costs. Approaches company commitments from a team perspective. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude is beneficial. Construction background is beneficial. Must be able to read a tape-measure. Drivers license and car Must be able to pass drug test. Be able to lift 75 lbs Job Type: Full-timeHourly: $15.00-17.00 /hourHoursStandard: Mon - Thursday @ 5:30A.M. - 4:00P.M. Overtime required by SWC : Currently, production demands Fridays 5:30 - 11:30, 2, or 4 PM (subject to change per demand - Saturdays maybe required in the future)
