Southside Christian School has an open position for a part-time Middle and High School strings teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Specific course and grade level assignments will depend on the strengths of the candidate. The teacher must be able to manage a classroom effectively, teach with excellence, and be able to create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled learning environment with students. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, and communication. We seek teachers who are willing to be creative, have a strong work ethic, and can work effectively as part of a team. Applicants experienced in teaching strings with biblical integration and engaging inquiry activities will be given preference. Candidates must be willing to obtain ACSI certification. All employees must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ; be involved with an evangelical, protestant church of like faith and practice; and agree with the philosophies, Statement of Faith, and Statement of Christian Life Commitment of Southside Christian School. In addition, all applicants must have a commitment to the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Christian schooling as expressed by Southside Christian School demonstrated by their eligible children enrolled in Southside Christian School.
