Systems, LLC Convenient location in Germantown -- Close to I-41/45 Systems, LLC, in Germantown, a leader in the design and manufacture of loading dock equipment, has a great opportunity for a sharp Technical Service Representative! You'll provide technical support by telephone and assist customers and subcontractors with technical problems with hydraulic, electrical or mechanical machinery questions. You'll help with questions on applications regarding function, install, maintenance and replacement, as well as warranty, parts questions or issues for loading dock safety equipment. You may also inspect and service company equipment onsite, assuring product performance, addressing and resolving questions and problems regarding products. Travel approximately 10%. How you'll make an important impact: Troubleshoot products and equipment, recommending quick, well thought-out and best practice solutions and repair. Technical support to customers over the telephone, addressing and resolving questions and problems with hydraulic, electrical or mechanical machinery, questions, or applications. Search and resolve production, installation and technical support issues related to Systems' specialized control boxes and equipment, including sensors, controllers, and interconnections. Read and understands blueprints, schematics, manuals, bulletins and other specifications. Provide corrective actions for products under warranty according to policy procedures. Process replacement parts and warranty orders for existing products or units. Use strong computer software skills such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, email, TCM (ERP), IoT, etc. daily with efficiency. Remains technically competent and keeps current within the industry. Work collaboratively with team members and customers to define and implement solutions that resolve application issues and improve product functionality. What you need to succeed: We will provide on the job training. Ideal candidate would possess the following: Technical school or associate degree coursework or prefer 3 years of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic aptitude and troubleshooting. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, manuals, bulletins and other specifications. Understanding of electrical field wiring and control wiring. Technical experience in a manufacturing environment Excellent communication skills- verbal, telephone, in-person and written. Possesses well-polished, verbal, telephone and face-to-face communication skills with a personable and professional demeanor. Strong computer software skills such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing, email, ERP systems, IoT etc. with efficiency. Proficient technology user, smart phone, tablet, PC, IoT. Initiative, service-orientation, interpersonal and team skills. Understand how to operate tools, such as hand tools, power tools, forklifts and other machinery. Possess valid driver's license with good record. High school diploma or equivalent required.
