TETER Architects + Engineers , Central California's premier Architecture and Engineering Firm, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training to join our team in designing HVAC and plumbing systems with a focus on user comfort, efficiency, conservation, and reliability. The Mechanical EIT provides all engineering, technical and administrative support to take a project from start to finish, including drafting, HVAC load and energy calculations, HVAC and plumbing system design, and other project-related functions. The successful Mechanical EIT will have previous experience in the production of design documents, specifically of mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing. He/she will ensure all drawings are prepared with accuracy, neatness, and speed, including work prepared by others. The ideal candidate is able to estimate time needed to complete assignments and manage his/her time in order to meet project requirements. To qualify for consideration, the Engineer-In-Training must possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field - Mechanical Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate - 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanical EIT'HVAC experience is a plus - Demonstrated use of REVIT and/or AutoCAD to effectively produce construction documents - Knowledge of basic engineering terminology required - Effective manager of his/her own time, setting goals, prioritizing, and completing tasks on time - Self-motivated and committed to growing him/herself and the firm - Excellent verbal and written communications skills TETER has adopted a hybrid work model with staff in office Tuesday through Thursday, and able to work remotely from home on Mondays and Fridays.
