A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you take charge of all maintenance activities, utility operations, and trial executions for our Food Application Center. You supervise and conduct multiple maintenance responsibilities, including predictive tasks, equipment repair, electrical work, and maintenance training programs. For our applications center, you perform operations to reduce downtime and ensure successful trial executions. As needed, you troubleshoot equipment either mechanically or electrically and maintain an updated work schedule. In addition, you partner with our engineering team to do proper process upgrades and help with continuous improvement. You also work with third-party vendors to ensure all inspections are up to date and support our food safety activities. As customers come to us with new projects, you help set up, commission, align, and prepare trials to make sure they run smoothly. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Technical diploma or related degree in process or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution OR a combination of education and experience ideally in the food industry Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and PLC Ability to travel domestically and internationally about 15% of the time Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Can you work collaboratively with a group of employees to accomplish company goals? Are you able to consider the needs or feelings of others and respond appropriately to different situations?
