About Our Organization : Enviremedial Services is at the forefront of industrial and military wastewater treatment technology. We specialize in transforming contaminated and polluted wastewater into clean, clear water suitable for recycling or discharge to sewer. Purpose: To assist in the cleaning of oil water separator units located at NWB China Lake & MCB Twentynine Palms using specified Enviremedial Services Inc equipment. Our ideal candidate, would be willing to learn about our systems and methods to efficiently treat waste water for our customers. Our equipment is unique to the trade and on the job training will be required. We are looking for a hard working individual who is willing to learn and provide great customer service. *Please take note that this job is on a military base, you will have to be able to pass a background check in order to be issued a contractor D.O.D badge. Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Knowledge: Mechanical (*Basic) - knowledge of machinery and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service. Tasks: Cleaning oil water separator units , using ESI developed equipment. Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds, and other work areas using hand tools and power tools. Clean and maintain equipment. MUST be able to lift 50+ pounds. Travel is a requirement for this position - Each OWS run last approximately 5 days, and trips can sometimes occur on back to back weeks. Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. Eligibility To become eligible to participate in the ESOP the employee must have attained the age of 21. Vacation - Effective immediately 0-3 years of service: 80 Hours - 10 days each year - Accumulation Max 120 hours 4-5 years of service: 96 Hours - 12 days each year- Accumulation Max 136 hours 6+ years of service: 120 Hours - 15 days each year - Accumulation Max 160 hours Sick Pay Max Accrual of 56 hours per year Accrual begins immediately upon hire. Per Executive Order (EO) 13706 Employees will accrue (earn) not less than one (1) hour of paid sick leave for every thirty (30) hours worked on or in connection with a covered contract, up to a maximum of fifty-six (56) hours. Eleven Paid Holidays (11) Predetermined Holidays - Effective immediately Plus four (4) days paid break between Christmas Day and New Year's Day for annual Christmas Break ESI 401(k) Plan- 25% Discretionary Employer Match Effective after 90 days Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long Term Disability Insurance -Effective on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Enviremedial Services Inc. Pays approximately 90% of Employee only coverage and competitive percentages of dependent coverage.
