Now Hiring for a Cooking Instructor! Job Summary: Baroody Camps, Inc. provides enrichment programs to school children in various counties throughout the Virginia/Maryland area. We are looking for individuals who are interested in making a positive impact in children's lives through teaching various different types of cooking classes throughout the school year. Skills such as chopping, dicing, mixing, baking, sautéing and more! Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour We are hiring for openings in the following zip codes: 22025 / 22079 / 20155 / 20165 / 22066 Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare for class each day Teach provided curriculum to a group of 8-15 children in a structured environment Cooking equipment and food management Food preparation and storage ability preferred Food handling and sanitation practices required Manage the children in an appropriate and safe manner Ensure students are safely dismissed following class Communicate effectively with children, parents and Baroody Camps staff Implement food safety procedures and COVID-19 policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills: Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED Must have a passion or skills for cooking Excellent communication skills High level of classroom management and customer service skills Works well under pressure Must be available to teach at least 2-3 times per week Vehicle transportation required Baroody Camps is an equal employment opportunity employer and is a safe and drug-free workplace.
