RN-Staff Education Coordinator-Full Time Maria Regina Residence, located in Brentwood, NY is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for a Full Time Staff Education Coordinator position. This is an exciting position and key clinical role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis. Some of your daily activities will include the development, implementation, and delivery of staff development programs including: orientation, in-service education, continuing education, competencies, and quality improvement initiatives. This is an exciting and dynamic position that offers a wide variety of problem solving and management for a self- motivated individual! We would love to talk to those who have a valid RN license in the state of New York with a degree in Education or a related field. Current CPR certification, with 2+ years supervisory and/or clinical experience in skilled nursing, medical surgical nursing or related field, prior educator or training experience (3 + years preferred) with prior experience working with an online learning management system (LMS) strongly preferred. Finally, we are seeking an RN with knowledge of MDS 3.0, prior experience working in the development of quality improvement initiatives, and the ability to demonstrate hands-on nursing procedures-IV certification a plus!
