SUMMARY : Reporting to the Culinary Director, the Accounts Manager will oversee CREA sales, customer service, team schedule management, and financial & reporting systems. EXPERIENCE · At least 4 years' experience in sales or communication role with customer-facing interactions· At least 2 years' experience in administrative or service positions within the Food Service Industry· Experience with budgeting and financial reporting· Editing experience and familiarity working within a consistent style guideline. High attention to detail for both written and visual context.· Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment· Self-starting attitude with desire to learn and proven time management skills· Demonstrated ability to successfully execute duties in a responsible and responsive manner· Professional demeanor and image· Strong copy editing skills· Active interest in the culinary world including top chefs, restaurants, food media and trends EDUCATION · BS in Communications, Sales, or relevant field· Proficiency in Wordpress and MS Office including Powerpoint, Publisher and Teams JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Manage team schedule, including CREA Kitchen Lab presentations, consulting offsite visits, client visits, inter-departmental coordination.· With Executive Chef, maintain team task list and lead weekly planning meetings. Generate meeting notes and/or update task list during meetings.· With Culinary Director, assign projects or contracts to team members with established deliverable dates and follow up plans.· With Executive Chef, set goals and expectations for direct reports using the performance review process and hold staff accountable for successful performance; coach the team by providing specific feedback to improve performance. Conduct performance appraisals with direct reports according to standard Human Resource guidelines.· With Executive Chef, ensure policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Human Resources guidelines and support all Human Resource directives.· Establish as main point of contact for consulting leads, contract fulfillment and customer billing· Identify new markets and customer leads, and manage outreach via variety of methods including independently seeking opportunities such as attending culinary trade shows or events with the intent of networking and recruiting customers· With Culinary Director, actively solicit and evaluate customer feedback.· Establish Standard Operating Procedures to help streamline team organization and communication.· Establish and/or verify standard contract templates for a variety of services with legal team· Ensure all development data is properly recorded with team; maintain and help create data sheets· Monitor team's contributions and contribute to CRM platform (Nimble) for customer relations and syncing with email marketing platform (Omnisend)· Monitor continued use and growth of group share drive· With Culinary Director. review/proofread service materials prepared by team members and create presentations for sales reviews· Approve vendor invoices and team personal expenses (via reporting app or credit card) while updating relevant balance sheets· Maintain and review established hourly reporting system timesheets. Compile and translate hours for client billing and performance reviews.· Manage sales reconciliation with customers, including commission where applicable. Meet with Cuisine Solutions Accounting department and Marketing & Sales Representative to verify each fiscal quarter's sales.· Oversee student recruitment for onsite courses· Manage/approve budget for marketing related expenses· Approve marketing materials for social media, presentations, tradeshows and events such as PowerPoint decks, brochures, photography, video, booth design, and promotional items· Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation· Function as point of contact for Partner relationships· Stay up to date on current and upcoming trends, innovations, and events in the food industry, and communicate these to management for strategy.
