Korean Women's Association is seeking a Senior Center Site Manager in Tacoma, WA. Full Time position, rate of pay is $23.00 + (DOE) per hour with benefits. Apply now! Purpose of Position schedule daily activities, events, provides other services at the senior center, especially focus on physical, emotional, social, mental, and recreational activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the daily service, activities and event, working with activity coordinator and vendors guided by division manager Support and schedule staffing for the weather inclement center when the city requests. Supervise the activity coordinator and driver. Refer senior participants to the appropriate organization for further services. Prepare monthly reports for contract compliance, with appropriate demographic data. Prepare client intake, fills out appropriate documents and inputs data into social service database as well as the funder's data (Smart sheet) Plan and execute special events including intergenerational gathering to promote programs; Collaborate with other organization such as CCS, LEG, or others. Prepare the annual monitoring visit which is conducted by the City of Tacoma. Understand the contract requirements and KWA policy. Participates in staff meetings and training as requested; Performs other duties as assigned including at the weather inclement center, and any staff role in their absence. Position Requirements, Competencies and Qualifications Satisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks; Prefer bilingual ability to speak, read and write English and Korean; Must have current driver's license, and current auto insurance, or be able to travel to different locations as needed; Strong understanding of assigned community, including best way for outreach; Proficient computer skills - data entry, MS Office, MS Excel Outlook Calendar; Ability to produce quality written communications; Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others; Education High school diploma or foreign equivalent required; Some college preferred. Experience Experience in non-profit organization or senior service field preferred. Working Conditions Ability to work in an office environment Ability to travel to different locations Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, twisting, and traveling Physical Requirements Ability to apply principles of logical thinking, to define problems Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagrammatic or schedule form Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, up to 20 feet or more NOTE: The requirements for this position are indicative of the physical and mental capacities needed to satisfactorily perform the duties for the position.
