The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a full-time, customer relations and service professional for our Boulder YMCA. In conjunction with the Membership Director, the Membership Coordinator will respond to member and guest needs, promote membership and programs, and maintain organization in the lobby and front desk areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mentors, trains, and leads membership staff in providing exceptional customer service. Assists the Membership Director with various administrative assignments including revenue collection and membership data management. Assists in membership engagement and retention efforts Conducts tours; sells memberships and accurately processes membership and program transactions. Handles and resolves member and guest concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues. Works various shifts, as needed, in order ensure coverage of the desk and oversee staff performance. Participates in staff and/or related meetings. Other duties as assigned by supervisor . QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age 21 Previous customer service, sales, or related experience, including 6 months as CRS II or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community Strong knowledge of computers and software. CPR, 1st Aid, AED Certification and Blood Borne Pathogens training obtained within association expectations timeframe Bilingual preferred but not required. Salary for this role is $14.65-$16.00/hour.
