To provide housekeeping services to all guest rooms according to the policies and procedures established by The Laurel Hotel and Spa. To provide exceptional quality housekeeping services to enhance the overall guest experience. Job Responsibilities: Cleaning guest rooms assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning floors and vacuuming where applicable. Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves Empty trash . Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room. Comply with OSHA Safety rules, use of chemicals, and other safety protocols as dictated by The Laurel Hotel and Spa. Must respond quickly and efficiently to all guest Keep linen closet and service landings organized and Keep carts clean and neat and stocked. Utilize a electronic device for assigned rooms, room status, and respond to messages received through the electronic device. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for Perform other duties as directed by the Housekeeping Management team and or Hotel Manager. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities: Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience · Ability to follow directions and work in a fast paced environment. · Ability to work alone in an established routine. Prior Housekeeping experience helpful but not required. Must be flexible to work varied schedules and hours including weekends and holidays. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and Must adhere to grooming and appearance standards in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the employee handbook . Must be dependable.
