The Race Gender & Equity Director will support the mission of YWCA Greater Cleveland to create and sustain delivery of proactive initiatives focused on issues of DEI and social justice. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, facilitating, and tracking activities related to racial equity, belonging, restorative practices and other social justice concepts; and build partnerships that support the organization's objectives and values. Assist with strategy development and implementation for the overall corporate training, community engagement and public education activities of YWCA Cleveland training social enterprise. Co-educate regarding concepts such as racial equity, anti-racism, belonging, and restorative practices to audiences across diverse sectors and industries. Support community outreach and engagement efforts by developing and maintaining partnerships to promote and deliver social justice education and awareness, including scheduling and conducting partner meetings, tracking partner engagement, and participating on relevant community coalitions. Support the daily operations and administration for related Race Gender & Equity initiatives. Coordinate and manage incoming partner requests, invoice processing, service agreement development, training scheduling and follow-up. Develop, maintain, and update relevant training curriculum and materials on DE&I and racial justice that align YWCA Cleveland strategic plan. Research best practices and assess current community conditions through dialogue with partners and community members to ensure programs are aligned with community and industry needs. Facilitate new internal training programs and contribute to staff engagement events that promote belonging across the agency. Support Marketing and Communications Dept. with promotional materials, website updates, social media, and educational videos about social justice subject matter. Create and maintain a program evaluation framework to measure the effectiveness of training work, including measuring the impact services have on partner organizations and creating outcome reports for partners post-engagement. Assess strengths and weaknesses of programs, improving curricula on a continuous basis, and produce accurate and timely reporting of program status and outcomes. Support the development, coordination, and execution of social justice related community engagement that can include but is not limited to leading forums and community conversations.
