Job Description/Responsibilities: The ideal School Leader who leads our Montessori schools is a lifelong educator with an ability to utilize data for decision making, someone who is willing to do anything that they would ask someone else to do, is a servant leader, a quality communicator, and fully invests in staff, students, and families to maintain a positive school culture. Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Current Michigan School Administrator certification or enrolled in a program leading to School Administrator certification within six months after the start of employment. Knowledge and skills working with students who might have additional challenges beyond education. Effective use of technology as a means of analyzing academic achievement data and as a tool to aid in communications with stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication using proper grammar and vocabulary. Exemplary work habits verified by previous employers. Strong interpersonal skills. Desired Requirements: Successful experience as a teacher or as an instructional leader. Previous experience in school leadership roles. Experience with the Montessori curriculum.
