Shady Grove Family YMCA Preschool is accepting applications for a Preschool Music Teacher. This is a part time position and requires working two mornings a week. The qualifications include experience working in an early childhood program and teaching groups of children ages 2-5 children's songs and basic musical concepts. Must possess strong vocal skills and play a musical instrument, guitar preferred. Must be able to work independently and possess good communication skills. Degree required. Starting salary begins at $17.00 an hour. DUTIES of a Music Preschool Teacher Responsibilities communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff. Seeking an energetic individual that enjoys being with young children.
