Special Projects Technician - Commercial HVAC

Job Summary: The Special Projects Technician works with a crew to install or replace commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. These systems include, but are not limited to the following: chillers, boilers, package units/RTUs, and split systems. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following trades: HVAC/R, Plumbing, Electrical Must have a high mechanical aptitude High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, with good communication ability Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Preferred Skills: Basic to above average knowledge of system controls and wiring Understanding of proper refrigerant piping installation Ability to braze and solder Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Sheet metal experience Knowledge of National electrical codes Experience cutting and assembling pipe We Offer: $17/hr.+ based on experience and skill set Health Insurance - PPO and HSA plans available Company vehicle (take home), gas card, uniforms, tools, iPhone, and iPad Training and continued education Employee Stock Ownership Plan - We are 100% employee owned!
