POSITION PROFILE: Assist in the maintenance of the Golf Course by performing a variety of tasks to ensure overall exceptional condition of the course. Ability to use both manual and motorized equipment. Attention to detail is a must. May be required to work additional hours during the busy season. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: Utilize manual lawn mower to maintain the greens and tees Operate riding lawn mower to maintain fairways, roughs and other larger areas Dispense spraying fertilizers and pesticides per prescribed schedule and as needed Routinely rake bunkers to maintain groomed appearance Cut trees and underbrush as needed Perform all weed-eating and edging Prepare and lay sod Maintain irrigation system and make repairs as necessary Performs all other duties as directed.
