Provides education and serves as a resource for opportunities within department and hospital. Performs routine and advanced respiratory procedures including oxygen therapy, oximetry, non-invasive and invasive ventilator management, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, EKG, and holter placement. Provides documentation utilizing electronic health record. Draws arterial or capillary blood sample from patient and performs blood gas analysis. Skills/Requirements: Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy; current Iowa License upon hire; Registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire or within 90 days with having Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist; BLS; ACLS and NRP preferred; Mandatory Reporter Job Posted by ApplicantPro
