Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: Midas Hospitality is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This position will assist with sourcing, screening and recommending candidates while provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition department. This role will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust with hiring managers and identify potential candidates though effective interviewing. This will be accomplished by following the standards that are part of our culture while filling open positions in a timely and cost-effective manner through the following functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to begin their career in the talent acquisition field. What You Will Be Doing: Source candidates using the internet, advertisements, networking, cold calling, job fairs/recruiting campaigns and other effective processes. Engage in social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as well as network with candidates as potential employees, not just when actively looking. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites. Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging, and meals, if applicable. Create and maintain records and metrics to provide information and to support recruiting strategies, sources, processes, etc. Conduct pre-screens with candidates that have the proper experience and background and set up qualified candidates with relevant interview process. Review, update, and assist in creating job descriptions regularly and as needed. Post both internal and external job postings. Conduct pre-employment background screenings as needed and collect all new hire paperwork. Assist with project-based tasks in updating recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and colleges when applicable. This is a new position within the company and will continue to grow and develop as needed. The Ideal Candidate: Phone skills, interviewing skills, people skills. Customer Service attitude with the ability to work unsupervised.
