Innovative Youth Services Program Support Specialist Families and Youth Innovation Plus is hiring a full-time Innovative Youth Services Program Support Specialist The Program Support Specialist Provides Support to the Operations Manager with daily administrative, clerical, and operational tasks. As the key greeter of staff, participants, families, and the community, this position is responsible for providing a safe, warm, welcoming, and affirming experience for assigned programs and other assigned sites. Competencies Acting with Empathy and Compassion Client Focus Emotional Intelligence Planning and Organizing Professionalism Fostering Communication Attention to Detail Responsibilities: Greet guests, field/manage their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs. Provide exceptional customer service to all scheduled and walk-in appointments Inspecting properties and arranging for maintenance and other appropriate services. Administrative duties. Assist the Operations Manager with administrative, clerical, and operational tasks as needed. Receipt and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, collect, report, and track of rent payments, and provided tenants with 3 day notices. Attend court sessions as needed Attend and actively participate in assigned trainings and professional development Assist in the planning and coordination of assigned projects, activities, and events. Be responsible for professional, timely communication with program and agency team members, and community partners Facilitates and coordinates all 'hospitality' services for this division to include, but not limited to, setting up meeting rooms, coordinating catering, taking minutes, etc. Qualifications: GED or High School diploma 1 year experience working with at risk youth; or Bachelor's degree in human services related field Applicants with personal experiences of homelessness, juvenile justice and child welfare system involvement are encouraged to apply Must pass a CYFD Criminal Records Check Must maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License Must be able to successfully perform non-violent crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid upon hire (trainings will be provided)
