In our time of Company growth, we are seeking Healthcare Billing & Coding Specialists - All Specialties Needed. Work Location: Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Review provider documentation within EHR and assign diagnosis & procedure codes Correct and resubmit denied claims Educate and act as a resource for providers and clinical staff What you need to bring to this role: High School Diploma or GED required Working knowledge of medical terminology required 1 years' medical/surgical coding & billing experience using ICD-10 and CPT codes required, 2 years' preferred Coding Certification from AAPC or other accepted certifying body preferred Working knowledge of Managed Care, Government Payers, and Private Payers Specialty experience required OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Family/Internal, Optometry, Podiatry, Orthopedics, General Surgery Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) software systems preferred Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Detail oriented with an organized mind-set Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
