Reliable is growing and have the following opportunity available to you today: Manufacturing Engineering Technician Friday - Monday 7am-5:30pm (4- 10 hour shifts) Liberty, SC The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the engineering functions for the organization in areas such as troubleshooting existing processes and new process development. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for implementing projects to improve cost and quality of the manufacturing processes, products, and components Investigates and resolves mechanical and/or electrical work-in-process problems Performs duties as required by Manufacturing Engineers Responsible for programming and troubleshooting machines Works closely with the Quality Department to checking parts and assemblies for product and part returns Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters Works closely with Product Engineering designers on product design feasibility and new manufacturing process development Develops and maintains manufacturing documentation and quality plans per company standards Coordinates with vendors regarding new product designs and machine parts Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. Performs other duties as directed Skills and Competencies Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Works systematically and logically to resolve problems Excellent project management ability Prioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner Strong self-motivation skills Possess strong commitment to a team environment while working well with others Willingness to learn new automation technologies Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics Proficient in HMI's, Direct soft, Click, RS logics 500 automation software Basic knowledge of Relay Logic and electrical wiring Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows Qualifications Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and/or Related Field 2 + years of experience working in a manufacturing environment using Machining, Hydraulics, and Programming Benefits Competitive starting wages Medical, Dental, and FSA are available the 1st of the month following your start date 401k with company match is available 1st of the month after 90 days of employment Company-provided Life Insurance and AD&D are provided 1st of the month after 90 days of employment at no cost to you 3 PTO days after 60 days of employment (hourly and non-exempt positions only) 2 weeks of vacation after 6 months of employment 30 minute unpaid break and two 15 minute breaks each shift 10 paid holidays - including your birthday!
