Admix is in search of a Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Londonderry, New Hampshire! The Manufacturing Manager is responsible overall for Admix US manufacturing and development of both related staff and technology. It is important to the Admix culture that this work is conducted within a framework of open communication, collaboration, and teamwork. This position requires hands-on machining and CNC programming experience. Manufacturing Manager Duties and Responsibilities Manages, plans, and schedules the daily activities of the US Machining and Fabrication Departments Specifies, acquires, and (oversees) installation of all new manufacturing equipment in the US facility; proscribes/plans for maintenance of same Active participant in and contributor to Value Engineering activities related to manufacturing Keeps constituents advised of delivery against schedules, priorities, and problems Offers solutions to complex problems and knows when to seek guidance from colleagues when the need arises Coaches staff, assesses their work, and guides their personal development Interviews, hires, manages, trains, develops, motivates, and evaluates the performance of staff Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process and equipment; monitoring direct reports and resources; implementing changes, initiating, and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments Focuses on continuous improvement of current processes and procedures Manufacturing Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven experience in manufacturing management Experience in the operation of machining and fabrication equipment Familiarity with and interest in the evolving state of manufacturing technology Must be able to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement Critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities Good written and oral communication skills Solid planning, leadership, and administrative skills Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues and co-workers, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive diverse team environment Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information and the ability to project a positive and professional demeanor and approach Experience sourcing, justifying, negotiating, and installing capital equipment Manufacturing Manager Requirements Minimum of ten years of manufacturing experience Minimum of ten years Operations Management experience Demonstrated mechanical aptitude strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, accurate, and timely with responses Proven leadership, communication, coaching, mentoring skills Ability to instill a high sense of urgency, results driven culture and providing direction to achieve department goals Determine and establish team and individual goals/metrics Solid experience to independently identify, analyze, and solve problems with creative and successful solutions Manufacturing Manager Preferred Requirements Associates or bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering, or related discipline, with a strong foundation in business administration Six Sigma/Lean/Continuous Improvement Background a plus MRP system experience Who We Are We're Admix, a proud employee-owned company and premier manufacturer of industrial mixing equipment based in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
