Job Description Summary Join a stable and growing company on a long-term Federal project with variety and interesting challenges. BPS is looking for a Software Licensing & Acquisition Specialist to serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting client negotiations and management of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software Contracts, validate data and update client COTS Software License Information Database, and track annual software/maintenance renewals and new software purchases. You will also provide project management and business analysis support for several key CIO initiatives. Workplace is 100% remote. Top salary for highly qualified candidates. Please note this is a contingent role, dependent upon award of a contract from the government. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. Responsibilities Software Contract Management Support - Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting client negotiations and management of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software Contracts, validate data and update COTS Software License Information Database, and track annual software/maintenance renewals and new software purchase. Providing PM and Business Analyst support for the following CIO Initiatives: Portfolio Expert customizations; Development of Acquisition Strategies; Software and Infrastructure purchase request and license renewal process management; Enterprise software analysis, transition, consolidation, and retirement. Qualifications - Required BA/BS degree in a related IT field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analysis, etc.) 5+ years' overall professional experience 2+ years' IT experience Qualifications - Highly Desired 3+ years' experience supporting or managing software contracts and related 3+ years' experience supporting IT programs 1+ years' experience working for a federal agency Experience at HHS or any of its OpDivs Compensation 69,000 - $77,000/yr, based on capability and experience Other Location: 100% Remote Hours: Full Time About BUSINESS PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS Business Performance Systems is a successful, well-established small business composed of skilled consultants supporting high-priority government projects.
