Job Description Summary Join a stable and growing company on a long-term Federal project with variety and interesting challenges. BPS is looking for a seasoned, federal acquisition professional, particularly in the context of an IT program/group or biomedical research/informatics arena and with experience inclusive of acquisition, purchasing, contracting, and financial management support services. In this role, you will work with federal managers, workspace leads, technical and documentation teams, and other contractor staff to conduct analyses, make recommendations, produce reports, develop acquisition plans, statements of work, purchase requests, cost estimates, and other associated portfolio acquisition and management documentation. In addition, may also provide input and assist with budgeting and financial management, analyses of policy and procedure options, develop templates for acquisition and purchasing documentation, and capture contracting metrics. Responsibilities Supporting client with contract development and pre-award acquisition processing; Supporting and facilitating contract proposal evaluation teams; Supporting client and partnering divisions in the drafting of SOWs, acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, and all documentation required for the federal acquisition process; Coordinating and providing guidance to Technical Evaluation Panels evaluating proposals for major support acquisitions; Aligning and harmonizing client acquisitions and CIO Governance objectives; Draft and deliver initial versions of documents that describe scope of work efforts Qualifications - Required BA/BS degree in a related field (Management, Business, Finance, Acquisition/Contract Management, etc.) 6+ years' overall professional experience 3+ years' demonstrated experience with acquisitions support or management for an IT program/group Qualifications - Highly Desired MBA 3+ years' experience with federal acquisitions (as a contractor or federal employee) FFRDC experience Recently retired federal acquisition specialist 1 or more of the following certifications: FAC-C Level II/III Contract Certification, National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Federal Contracts Manager/Professional Contracts Manager, or DAWIA Level II/III Acquisition certification Compensation $59,000 - $68,000/yr, based on capability and experience Other Location: 100% Remote Hours: Full Time About BUSINESS PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS Business Performance Systems is a successful, well-established small business composed of skilled consultants supporting high-priority government projects.
