We are currently accepting applications for the position of, Accounting Technician ll to perform a variety of working level, complex clerical and routine technical duties as needed to expedite the day-to-day processing of accounts payables and receivables. Wasatch Behavioral Health (WBH) provides quality, comprehensive mental health care with an array of programs and services for individuals within Utah and Wasatch counties. Schedule: Part-Time, Monday - Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Compensation: $18.13 - $22.97 per hour (depending on experience) Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency. Essential Functions: Accounts Payable: Process and monitor center accounts payable systemProcess vouchers Maintain vendor database Accounts Receivable: Receive and receipt incoming payments Deliver bank deposits Perform ongoing training Special Programs: Maintain various accounting and financial records Prepare mileage reimbursements Gather and track receipts for charge accounts Solve problems and concerns of vendors regarding reimbursements Assist in the development and implementation of accounting and procedural guidelines General: Assist auditors Provide project support Provide backup to Accountant Audit for accuracy See included link for the full job description Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Working knowledge of: Laws and regulations governing accounting responsibility Accounting/bookkeeping Ability to: Communicate effectively Perform advanced mathematical computations See included link for the full job description Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Two (2) year of college level coursework in accounting, bookkeeping or other related field AND Two (2) year of responsible work experience in practical bookkeeping or accounting OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, AND software proficiency standards scores at or above entry level standard(s) Preferred Qualifications: Excellent typing accuracy Experience in a medical environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
