Description:

Full time opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role requires a degree from an accredited school of Nursing, current certification as a LPN in MO and 1-2 years of experience in a community health center and/or hospital setting. This position will be responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned area in terms of individualized client needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction/delegation of the RN. Must have knowledge of information and techniques in providing excellent patient care, knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as MS Office Suite, and electronic transmission via facsimile and/or internet, good self motivational and organizational skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrated knowledge of the complexities of integrating services, and knowledge of data management through use of IT. Must have the ability to work at all health sites as needed, a current CPR Certification, current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS) and be registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.
