TITLE: Shipping/Packager PAY GRADE: 5JOB CODE: 35-3031.00 FLSA: NonexemptGENERAL SUMMARY: Pull parts off racks to fulfill work orders. Inspect each part to make sure it is notdamaged.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure merchandise is inspected and not damaged Pull parts off racks to fill work orders Package and prepare items for shipping Load and unload delivery trucks Operate various types of equipment (forklift, manual stackers, pallet jacks...) Lift doors, hoods, hatch gates, tires, wheels, and moreSKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED: Verbal and written communication skills A positive and professional attitude Organizational skills Problem recognition and resolution skills Knowledge of automotive parts Regular lifting of up to 75+ lbs. or more. Ability to work in all weather conditions Basic computer skills Ability to multitaskQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: High school diplomaEXPERIENCE:.1 year inventory experienceTOOLS: NONELICENSES: REPORTS TO: DIRECTS WORK OF: None.DATE APPROVED:This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards ofthe position.
