General Description: The Director of Operations at Finger Lakes Textiles oversees all aspects of the operation including contract compliance, order fulfillment, inventory, customer satisfaction, and oversight of all staff, and facility safety, in a manner that supports Mosaic's vision and growth strategy. Finger Lakes Textiles, a manufacturing operation, provides paid work opportunities for persons with disabilities in a community based integrated work environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop innovative solutions and should be willing to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. The position works closely with executives to strategize and develop new products and long-term plans. Qualifications: Associates Degree in business, or a related field with three years of experience in overseeing production and manufacturing. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful senior level management in a manufacturing environment. They will have excellent interpersonal/communication and team leadership skills; the ability to make sound independent decisions and implement them; the willingness to learn new things every day and the ability to work in a challenging and everchanging environment.
