As an L PN: Admissions Nurse you will be responsible for answering inquiries from potential applicants for the continuum of care and services at Jennings, have sensitive conversations with individuals and guide individuals/families through processes such as applications and requirements. Must reflect warmth, personal interest and a positive demeanor with individuals seeking information about the Jennings campus and its array of services. Must be comfortable working with older adults and families and be able to answer applicant, family and community questions about varying levels of care for older adults and various payor sources, as well as respectfully handle sensitive personal and confidential information within HIPAA guidelines. Internally, this position will work with interdisciplinary staff members, most essentially communicating with teams/team members for application approvals and transitions. Requirements for an LPN: Admissions Nurse: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio with current license.
