Being based in one primary High School truly is a highlight of this position. This full time Athletic Trainer position provides autonomy while covering on-site events and providing athletic injury management for students. This is rewarding work due to the size of the community and feeling appreciated and supported by coaches, parents, ADs, Administrators etc. VMH is a great fit for someone that wants to help provide healthcare to our rural community and feel a sense of purpose in helping student athletes recover from their injuries as well as advocating for preventive medicine. We offer the opportunity to work with exceptional colleagues with extensive knowledge and experience in the realm of athletic training, to collaborate with teammates and for educational growth. A minimum of a BS degree in Athletic Training, certification by NATABOC, BLS certification, and WI license or eligibility required. Program development experience a plus, but not required.
