Stable high-technology company Fun-loving team members Close to BART and light rail Proud to be 100% vaccinated / Must be 100% vaccinated Position Summary: Act as the organization's main point of contact for all HR related policies and procedures Design, plan and implement all HR programs and policies Ensure strategies and programs are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while recommending best practices Oversee workplace investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations Provide strategic Employee Relations support through partnership and coaching/training to all levels of the organization Plan yearly Open Enrollment, evaluating benefit options that best fit the company needs Negotiate and manage administrative contracts (e.g. ETP, building and equipment leases, benefit plans, etc.) Manage insurance programs (including health, asset, liability, automobile, worker's compensation, etc.) Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or HR Certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR or HR and Admin Management; and minimum 2 years of people management experience (e.g. managing direct reports). General Requirements (skills, experience, demonstrated abilities): Solid working knowledge of HR laws and regulations Skills and experience in writing documents Excellent oral and written communication Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail with project management and organization skills Advanced knowledge of Windows and MS Office Suite Physical Attributes Required: Sitting, standing, walking, computer and/or phone use up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift 20 pounds Driving and traveling (occasionally) Benefits: Paid holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance Life, AD&D & long-term disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health care and dependent care; 401k Plan Education Reimbursement program Optional 9/80 work schedule Discretionary annual profit-sharing bonus This position requires handling of product or information which is subject to ITAR regulations.
