Job Description **Spanish language capacity encouraged to apply** The Clinical Supervisor is a licensed mental health professional who serves as the primary therapist and contact for all in-home clients. The Clinical Supervisor develops treatment plans, methodologies, and ensures the effective implementation of all in-home treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the management of direct care staff and the content and implementation of the in-home treatment plans. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as always demonstrating sound professional judgment. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each client on their caseload receives at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice." Requirements Current LMHC, LMFT or LISCW RI License Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or relevant field Minimum of (1) year experience of working with children with special healthcare needs. Meets transportation requirements (No history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker) DCYF CANTS clearance check. BCI check from the Rhode Island Attorney General's office. Job Duties: Execute case openings (in conjunction with the case Treatment Coordinator) according to EOHHS program standards and guidelines. Develop treatment and behavior plans with measurable and attainable goals for PASS, HBTS, and outpatient clients. Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence based and reflect the most recent research findings. Obtain client/parent/guardian's signature treatment plan within seven days of completion and at least fifteen days prior to plan end date for submission to Clinical Director or appropriate insurance payer. Prepare and submit all required documentation for initial or renewal plans in a timely manner. Document all actions taken in production of HBTS & PASS Plans and Progress Reports on the Contact Tracking Sheet and submit with plan to case Treatment Coordinator. Ensure the proper implementation of the in-home treatment plan. Demonstrate/model implementation of treatment methodologies outlined in the treatment plan as needed. Meet with the client's guardian(s) or other family members as needed to review overall progress and discuss changes to the treatment plan. Review and evaluate the performance of Direct Service Professionals (DSP). Execute disciplinary action against the DSP as required. Attend regularly scheduled treatment team meetings to communicate the client's progress regarding specified target areas. Provide direct instruction, supervision, and training to the client/family members/DSP during regularly scheduled home and community-based visits. Visit in-home treatment clients according to program guidelines. Meet with collateral service providers to coordinate care across all settings. Review treatment plan goal data collected by the DSP and/or parent once per month. Monitor roster for required action (renewal plans, progress reports, discharges). Maintain phone contact with HBTS families at least weekly. For HBTS clients establish a regular biweekly supervision schedule with the DSP. Perform initial and ongoing consultation to PASS clients as assigned. Ensure that DSP are trained to complete incident reports for significant incidents within 24 hours and receiving boundary, communication, and positive behavioral supports in a timely manner upon hiring. Approve all outings and transportation requests for each client on caseload. Attend all referral source meetings as indicated. Attend Clinical Group Supervision with Clinical Director and All Staff Meetings as requested.
