The ideal candidate will take a strategic approach to training, assessing the current knowledge and programs within the organization and then establishing and implementing new programming that will grow and elevate the skills of our team members. Responsibilities: Assesses global training and development needs over all Penzone brands, through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and guest representatives. Works closely with multiple stakeholders including management, internal partners, and external vendors to support the successful development, implementation and ongoing delivery and operations of a variety of learning projects and programs. Oversees development processes, programs, and services that are designed to develop and enhance the skills of our team members and external clients. Manages multiple projects through proper planning and executing timely deliverables. Conducts research on training topics covering technical, guest service, and soft skills for career and life enhancement. Manages and provides overall leadership and direction to the training team including coaching, mentoring and development. Provides training strategy development and curricula planning and development support. Develops fresh, engaging and effective training materials and communications plans and products, including strategic overviews, program assets and materials including e-learning courses, virtual events, facilitation guides, learner workbooks, job aids, etc. Develops reporting, metrics and/or scorecards to analyze training data. Documents processes and best practices to assist in the development of templates, resources, guideline updates and assets. Identifies and prioritizes professional development needs and build a short- and longer-term strategy that is actionable and measurable, demonstrating impact to the business. Encourages a learning culture and communicates value of learning . Develops and manage budget for learning and development ensuring cost effective methods are utilized. Skills and Abilities Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, or Training/Education-related degree 7-10 years of experience in Learning & Development Project Management 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development with strong learning program management/curriculum management and facilitation experience Demonstrated ability translate business performance gaps into learning and development strategies Demonstrated, applied understanding of learning technologies such as: ILT (Instructor Led Training), Virtual ILT, online learning, learning partnerships, etc. Ability to quickly adapt to new business needs and strategies, flexible in alignment and approach based on market trends Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, and the ability to translate data into insightful conclusions Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects and tasks. Align resources to ensure priorities with multiple deadlines are met Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations Excellent communication, problem solving, skills Excellent active listening skills Knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, working effectively with those at all levels in the organization Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences Ability to develop high-quality solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Ability to work remotely + on-site at all PENZONE Salon locations in Columbus, OH Job Posted by ApplicantPro
