Maple Crest Health Center has been proudly serving Omaha's Seniors in the Benson area for more than 70 years. We provide seniors with Long Term Care , Short Term Rehabilitation and Memory Care with supportive healthcare services. What We Need From You As a Director of Nursing / RN , You will oversee the daily clinical operations of the nursing department to assure that each resident receives the necessary care and services in accordance with the resident's comprehensive assessment and care plan. Plan, organize, develop, evaluate and direct clinical services of the health center; quality assurance/quality control, policy and procedures, and regulatory compliance. Manages proper staffing levels. Direct and disseminates information to nursing staff. You will feel great knowing you do meaningful work helping residents and their families! Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; current Registered Nurse license/ RN in Nebraska or current compact state license required. A minimum of a BSN from an accredited school of nursing is preferred. 5 years of leadership experience in nursing; 2 years experience as DON or ADON - Long Term Care experience required. Requires strong critical thinking skills, independent judgment, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments. Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, patience, emotional maturity to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families and co-workers. Must comply with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) directive which requires proof of full Covid 19 vaccination prior to start date or request exemption (religious or medical) and if approved, wear appropriate PPE while on duty.
