Job Description Job Title: Night Shift Maintenance Resource Leader (Supervisor) Reports to: Manager - maintenance FLSA Status : full-time, exempt (salary) Job Description: This position is responsible for managing a team in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment during the Night Shift Key Job Responsibilities: Manage and direct daily maintenance efforts in support of production equipment. Develop and train maintenance technicians on electromechanical skills. Detailed knowledge and experience with industrial equipment , controls, PLC as well as industrial fabrication standards and processes. Working knowledge of CMMS work management process and know the importance of planned work orders. Implement & maintain a PM schedule. Keep logs and improve metrics of work performed. Know and use lock out tag out program. Strong leadership skills and experience supervising diverse backgrounds. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: PLC and Controls experience. Conveyor and downstream equipment experience. Be able to prioritize workload and direct team. Mig and general welding. Lift up to 50#'s. General building maintenance. Qualifications Required: Five or more years in a supervisory maintenance role in the food and beverage industry BS or AS degree preferred or combination of education & experience Able to work 40+ hours and occasional weekends Demonstrated ability to read blueprints/schematics Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Preferred: 3+ years' experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated facility as well as training/experience with compressed air systems, water heaters, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Basic refrigeration knowledge Physical requirements Ability to work 8+ hour shifts, lift 50+ pounds, stand, climb, and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive motions, and work in an environment with varying degrees of temperatures and humidity.
