BASEBALL/SOFTBALL UMPIRE CLOSING DATE: Open until filled PAY RATE: Starting at $16.66 , depending on experience and Certifications SCHEDULE: The season starts April 19th and ends June 19 for Softball and July 14 for Baseball Monday - Thursday evenings, depending on availability DEPARTMENT: Recreation JOB SUMMARY Umpire baseball or softball games for the Lehi Recreation Youth Leagues. Games are played Monday through Thursday with rainout makeup games held Friday's and Saturday's, as needed. As an umpire you would be in charge of the play for the field to which you are assigned. You oversee participant safety and fair play. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 16 years of age. Prior experience as an umpire is preferred. You will need to have a flexible work schedule due to games that will start at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Will need to be available a minimum of two game days a week. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
