A Day in the Life of a Restaurant Shift Manager As a part of the Management Team, you will work a variety of job stations in the restaurant, such as front counter, drive thru, food production line and prep station. Our Shift Managers directly supervise the operation of the restaurant and employees during their shift to ensure specific quality standards are maintained.Shift Managers are responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the safety and security of the restaurant and its employees. Shift managers carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities also include training employees, assigning and directing work and cash handling.Your role as a full time restaurant shift manager will require 30+ hours each week that can be tailored to your schedule. There is no need to give up your life balance with Taco John's! We have hours that range from 6am to 10pm, so whether you have church activities, sports activities, or school activities, we are very open and flexible with the schedule to ensure your success!Quick thinking, a desire to improve your current leadership skills, and the ability to work independently with a mature attitude are the keys to succeeding in this role.
