CommQuest is currently seeking a Licensed Provider for our School Based Mental Health (SBMH) Provider Team . The Licensed Providers will deliver services in assigned K-12 school(s) in and around the Stark County area. Licensed Provides are responsible for lending their expertise to the behavioral needs of the school environment. The Licensed Providers will provide counseling services consisting of assessing a client's reason(s) for engaging services and mutually developing a course of treatment to address the needs as expressed by the client to achieve more effective personal, social, educational, and/or career development adjustment. T his is a full-time position with benefits including PTO, sick time, mental health days, medical insurance, vision/dental insurance, 403b match contribution, etc. This is a predominantly field-based position, with the expectation to provide services to students and clients in their school, home, community, or office setting in order to best serve the client's needs. This position will temporarily be an hourly status and office-based during the summer month. Once the school year begins in August, this position will be full time school-based and follow a school calendar. Job Duties include: Provides coordination, development, and leadership toward an integrated continuum of care. Addresses barriers to learning and leads to improved behavioral and academic outcomes for students. Provides strength-based counseling interventions, working with clients in achieving goals and objectives. Builds strong relationships and relationship skills with school staff, students, families, and community partners. Develops treatment and discharge plans. Provides behavioral and mental health consultation and education to school staff, as needed. Provides crisis intervention and counseling. Provides individual and/or group counseling. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field is required. State of Ohio license is required, minimum of LPC or LSW. Those registered as a Counselor-Trainee or Social Work-Trainee may be considered with previous experience in the field. Must remain enrolled in a Master's level Clinical Counseling or Social Work program and be registered with OCSWMFTB as a Trainee. Strong time management, organizational, and engagement/interpersonal skills are a must. Minimum of 2+ years' post licensure experience is a plus. Position required routine evening hours and a willingness to allow some flexibility in scheduling a caseload. If the school buildings close due to a pandemic, providers are expected to continue seeing clients in the office, client homes, or community settings or by Telehealth while taking agency recommended safety precautions to protect themselves and their students and clients from exposure and infection. Providers are expected to coordinate with their school administrators and staff members to be available for new and continuing consultation and treatment student needs while in school building or if working remotely.
