Position Overview We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager, Learning and Development to join the Institute for Leadership Development and Research team. The incumbent will be responsible for the development, programming, and coordination of programs for both external open-enrollment programs and internal custom programs. Additional knowledge in curriculum design of live in-person learning programs and self-directed e-learning programs is beneficial to assist with program management. The Senior Program Manager will support the delivery, review, and maintenance of best-in-class learning programs, virtual learning programs, and user engagement. The Senior Program Manager will collaborate with others on our existing processes to effectively and efficiently build, refresh, and enhance the current offerings and build new ones. The incumbent will ensure that events and programs reach the highest level of participant satisfaction and are strongly positioned to yield excellent member value, Fellow engagement, support and sponsorships. Essential Responsibilities: Program Development Create engaging learning activities and compelling program experiences. Plan, develop, program, and implement virtual and face-to-face global leadership development training. Work directly with training facilitators/instructors/speakers and work closely to oversee all logistics and planning such as drafting consultant/vendor agreements. Support development and locate supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, gamification, etc.) to be used within for learning programs. Research and make recommendations of potential facilitators, moderators, and talent. Implement and track timelines for department projects. Update and maintain partners, DEI personnel, and potential sponsor contact lists. Assist in preparing of proposals for sponsorships and custom programs. Provide technical assistance by administering Zoom meetings. Monitor and evaluate program and event effectiveness, and implement changes required for continuous improvement that enable the highest level of satisfaction to be achieved. Represent The ELC with various constituents as required Program Development Contribute directly to internal ELC growth initiatives including project delivery frameworks, internal methodology, design techniques and development of customer offerings Where applicable, support customer lifecycle initiatives, including development of proposals and overarching business development and retention strategy General Contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adhere to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Maintain current professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional associations. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality improvement. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education, business, organizational development, communication, or a related field in learning development is required A required minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in adult education, instructional design, curriculum development, conducting and/or managing research initiatives, developing and/or managing coaching programs, and implementing research in a combination of for an non-profit organization A required minimum of 5 years progressively experience in Project & Program Management A preferred minimum 2-5 years of progressively experience in Program Sales/Business Development A preferred minimum 2-5 years of progressively experience in Training Instruction/facilitation Previous supervisory experience with the a bility to collaborate with internal teams, external teams, and management to ensure requirements are being met and projects are kept on schedule. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent follow-up, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and very strong attention to details. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and multitasking. Must be able to manage and meet deadlines within the parameters that are set. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and a passion for and belief in the value of workforce diversity. Ability to work with external taskforces or committees by incorporating their input and suggestions yet balancing internal needs and requirements. Work well under pressure with sound judgment and appropriate confidentiality; demonstrate integrity and a willingness to commit to the overall mission and programs of the Executive Leadership Council. Strong positive attitude and an orientation to getting things done. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift to 10 pounds at times. Hybrid Job requires travel up to 10% of the time.
